An introduction to the amazing, musical, double pedal work by Graduate of Composition and Professional Teacher, Tom. There will be some time to talk with Tom after the workshop.

Tom SMASHED this workshop ! He produced a dynamic, focussed, erudite presentation backed up with professional- standard playing to his own compositions.

Yes it was loud. Yes it was super fast. What gained our attention, though, was the message: "This is attainable through constructive practice and it's MUSICAL".

The close, open forum with questions flying back and forth must have been difficult to deal with when giving a really action-packed show and he dealt with it professionally.

Tom is surely an up-coming educator whose critical and reflective approach to this most aggressive of musics will, I am sure, enable students to incorporate double pedals into their music-making in a constructive, musical and exciting way.
